Founded in 1933, CleanCare has pioneered many of the important innovations in the linen care industry including automated tracking systems, training programs and continuous improvement methods. CleanCare operates three plants  - among the most automated in the country -  bringing efficiency, speed and great capacity to the hospitals, restaurants and hotels we serve.

The newest CleanCare plant utilizes an 18-chamber continuous batch washer where linens are washed, sanitized and dried, and then mechanically fed through ironing and folding machines at a rate of 200 pounds per minute.  The system is so automated and precise that, after the initial sort, laundry isn't touched until it is positioned at finishing equipment for automatic ironing and folding. This "hands-off" approach not only streamlines the laundering process, it eliminates human error and improves the end product for the customer.
